Open Question: How do I send a family member to a mental hospital who does not have insurance in louisiana?

I have an uncle (mothers brother) 46 years old. He has been in 2 detox facilities in the past month they have yet to help with anything. He has a problem with ambian (sleeping pill) about 18 a day ever since my grandmother passed away in july 2011. Now he is angry voilent and making up things and believes them. I have no idea what else to do. I have tried everything I am turning to the public because our health care system is not helping me one bit. Please help!!!
